Being a real estate investor is difficult, it requires hard work and dedication, but has a strong return.
Many property managers and investors struggle with the day-to-day, which is where we’ve got you covered.
This month, we are proud to highlight Brian Frohn as DoorLoop’s property manager of the month.
Every month, we like to take the time to highlight a property manager that embodies DoorLoop’s values and more importantly, someone that has great advice and potential to teach our readers to become better in the field.
In this post, we will discuss Brian’s upbringing in property management and share some of his advice to reach success within the industry.
About Brian
Brian owns 18 units in Massachusetts and founded his business in 1990.
His biggest inspirations to enter the industry were his parents and grandfather, who helped him get started.
His first investment derived from his grandfather, who gave him $5,000 to get started; he took advantage of the situation and bought his first property. This home, however, was a fixer-upper, and in no time, Brian had launched his first rental property!
Brian states that he always knew there had to be a “trick” to become successful, and he cracked the code by renovating old buildings, he calls these “investments you can touch.”
Advice For Property Managers
Finding success in the world of real estate is not easy, and Brian heavily emphasizes this.
He believes that perfect market conditions are rare, which is why getting started as soon as you can is the key.
“Don't wait for certain market conditions, there’s always something imperfect. Just get started!”
You also have to be willing to put in the work, says Brian. It is all about putting in the work and staying consistent; if you stay patient, you will see the return.

Brian loves DoorLoop’s modern interface, the fact that it’s easy to navigate, its amazing support, and its constant updates.
Making suggestions and seeing their execution is also a big hit for Brian.
At DoorLoop, we take an interest in our customers, which he also pointed out.
