Additionally, you can customize the fee for tenant screening in order to charge additional fees and actually generate revenue from tenant screening.
The price for a US national criminal background check, eviction history, and credit report is only $45.00 per tenant. The reports are created and run by TransUnion. You can include this cost in your application fees to break even, or you can upcharge to make a profit (check to see if it's legal to do so in your state first).
In most States in the US, you can upcharge for the tenant application and screening. DoorLoop allows you to set any price you like. Please check your local and State laws before upcharging.
